What is BarnBridge? BarnBridge is the simple app that connects local farmers and makers directly with people who want fresh, honest food and goods. Producers sell meat shares, milk shares, eggs, produce, honey, flowers, wool, soaps, candles, crafts, and more—straight to buyers’ homes or pickup spots. No big fees, no middlemen, just real connections.

Is BarnBridge available in my area? We’re growing fast! Producers set their own delivery or pickup zones, so availability depends on who’s near you. Download the app and search your location—new farms join every day. If you don’t see much yet, invite your favorite local producer to sign up free.

Is the app free to use? Yes—for consumers, browsing and buying is completely free (you only pay for the products plus any delivery fee the producer sets). For producers, start with our free Starter plan (up to 20 products, basic tools). Upgrade to paid plans only when your sales grow—and even then, we’re far more affordable than the big platforms.

For Producers (Farmers & Makers)

How much does it cost for me to sell on BarnBridge? Start free forever with the Starter plan. When you’re ready for unlimited products, subscriptions, advanced inventory, and priority support, our Core plan starts at a low monthly fee (much less than competitors). No setup fees, no contracts, no percentage cuts beyond standard Stripe processing (~2.9% + 30¢). You keep the rest.

What kinds of products can I sell? Anything your farm or homestead produces—pasture-raised meats, milk shares, eggs, vegetables, fruits, honey, wool, flowers, handmade soaps, candles, jams, crafts, even farm experiences or add-ons. It’s your farm, your rules.

Do I need tech skills to set up my shop? No. Most producers set up their first storefront in under 10 minutes. The app guides you step-by-step with simple tools—no coding, no design headaches. If you get stuck, our support team (real people, real farmers) is just a message away.

How do I get paid? Buyers pay securely through Stripe right in the app. Funds go straight to your linked bank account (usually within 1–2 business days). You see every transaction clearly—no surprises.

Can I sell subscriptions or recurring shares? Yes! Milk shares, meat boxes, CSA-style veggie bundles, seasonal surprises—set them up once and they run automatically. Customers love the convenience, and you get steady cash flow.

For Consumers (Buyers & Home Cooks)

How do I find producers near me? Open the app, allow location access (or enter your zip code), and browse farms and makers in your area. Filter by product type, distance, or availability.

How does delivery or pickup work? Each producer sets their own options: farm pickup, local drop-off spots, or delivery to your door. You’ll see exactly what’s available when you add items to your cart. Delivery fees (if any) are set by the producer and shown upfront.

Is it safe to buy online from local farms? Yes—payments are handled securely through Stripe (the same trusted system used by millions of businesses). Producers are real people with profiles, stories, and photos. We verify basic info, and you can message them directly with questions before buying.

Can I set up recurring orders? Absolutely. Subscribe to weekly milk shares, monthly meat boxes, seasonal produce, or whatever fits your routine. You control the schedule, quantity, and can pause or cancel anytime.

What if something goes wrong with my order? Contact the producer directly through the app—they know their products best. If needed, our support team steps in to help resolve it quickly. We stand behind fair, honest transactions.

How is BarnBridge different from other apps or platforms? We’re built by farmers who understand the real work of farming—not a big tech company. No high commissions, no forced branding, no complicated tools. Just direct connections, fair pricing, and a focus on building lasting relationships between producers and the people who value their work.
